Granola is a filling and delicious gluten free breakfast (and snack) made with a base ingredient of oatmeal. A mix of nuts, seeds and honey is then added, stirred through and baked until crisp, toasted and golden brown. It provides a healthy mix of carbohydrates, protein and fats that will sustain and give you energy for at least a few hours! Oats also contain a good amount of fibre which will assist with a healthy digestion.


  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup pepitas
  • Tbsp cinnamon


  • Mix up coconut oil or butter and honey on stove – stir into main dish whilst still hot
  • Bake in low oven until toasted
  • Serve with full-fat plain yoghurt and fresh berries
