Feldenkrais – a system of physical exercise that aims to improve human functioning by increasing self awareness through movement – was founded by Moshé Pinchas Feldenkrais , a Ukrainian – Israeli engineer and physicist, born in 1904.

- to build up to the full stretch
- to use slow controlled movements.
