Hydration is so important for our health. Water hydrates and cleanses the body, and is involved in many chemical reactions.
Make sure you drink enough water every day to stay properly hydrated. Multiply your weight in kg by 0.033 to find your daily water requirement.
Every day our bodies turn over millions of cells and need to be replaced with nutrients. It is important to eat a good balance of protein, fats and carbohydrates, with plenty of whole foods – avoid processed foods as much as possible.
Exercise helps to detoxify the body through sweating, keeps bones and muscles strong, burns calories and makes us feel good. Find the right level and type of exercise for you, and keep moving!
Humans breathe more than 20,000 times every day and so, by learning to breathe correctly, we can improve our health, reducing levels of stress and boosting energy.
Our body repairs itself during the night, so if we don’t sleep enough we are robbing ourselves of crucial repair time for the body and mind, and this leads to dysfunction.
Positive thinking is connected to good health. In this busy world, when we can get stressed from everyday life, negative thinking can get us down. Try focusing on positive things instead.
